Apple

I don't think there's a word, I've ever heard that captures the innocence of you. And I wouldn't want one to. It would be like smothering a star, or covering a work of art, driving so fast than the view falls apart like I do... without you.
But I'm on my way home and I'm worn to the bone and when my heart hits an all time low there's something shining through.
I find the light in you.
I don't think there's a sun that's ever shone brighter than the radiance of you. And I wouldn't want one to. It would be a fire forever tamed, a burn without the pain, a heat that never warms the veins, like you do.
Take my hand and we can beat this glimmer of a dream out from the corner... Place your fingers into mine and we could find a world, if we believe it we can breathe it... Breathe it into life.
And I'm on my way home, and I'm worn to the bone, and when my heart hits an all time low there's something shining through*

I find the light in you - Joe Brooks
